What this mod does
DBM Classic Dealer is a mod by Claude Shannon (author of the DBM series) that brings back two classic SCS trucks: the 2012 Volvo FH16 and the MAN TGX Euro 5. Both are still in the game files, but dealers no longer sell them.
What’s included
- Four Volvo FH16 2012 configurations at Volvo dealers.
- Three MAN TGX Euro 5 configurations at MAN dealers.
- 4×2 or 6×2 chassis in every case.
- Once you buy them, you can customize them as usual at any service shop.
How it works
The mod only adds dealer entries: it doesn’t modify any existing truck, so it’s very lightweight (about 50 KB). According to the author, it’s compatible with the rest of the DBM mods, such as DBM Engine & Transmissions Refresh.
Version
The author says it’s made and tested for ETS2 1.61.x and 1.62.x; it may work on older versions, but he doesn’t support them. He released it on September 28, 2026. He asks you to download it only from Steam Workshop: copies on other sites aren’t his and don’t get updated. It’s part of “The Complete DBM Pack”, the author’s collection that bundles 19 mods for 1.61.

- Euro Truck Simulator 2 updated to version 1.61
- No DLC or other mods required
How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable “DBM Classic Dealer” and load your save.
- Go to a Volvo or MAN dealer.
- Find the Volvo FH16 2012 or the MAN TGX Euro 5 among the trucks for sale and buy it.
