What this mod does
This free mod by Foryst adds a train between Kandyagash, in ProMods The Great Steppe, and Otar, in notreal71’s Seven Rivers Map. It lets you link the two Kazakhstan maps in the same profile.
What’s included
- A train connection from Kandyagash to Otar.
- A rail terminal in Kandyagash.
- Drivable roads and new city scenery in parts of Kandyagash, so the connection feels more natural.
Kandyagash is the work of the ProMods team; Foryst only adds details. notreal71’s Otar train station is left untouched.
Other uses
You can use it with The Great Steppe alone to get the Kandyagash improvements, without the train. The author thinks it might also work with Seven Rivers’ optional Otar–Calais train connection, but he hasn’t tested it. There’s also a separate variant that’s compatible with Road to Aral.
Version and load order
Version 1.0 came out on August 10, 2026 and the author marks it for ETS2 1.60 and 1.61. The page was last updated on September 18, 2026. Place it above ProMods The Great Steppe and Seven Rivers Map.

How to install it
- Go to the mod page on TruckyMods (Foryst's verified account).
- Download version 1.0.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager above ProMods The Great Steppe and Seven Rivers Map.
- In Kandyagash, look for the train terminal to Otar.
