What this mod does

Interior Lights & Emblems (parking add-on) is an add-on by Braakie for his Interior Light & Emblems mod, which already has a page on Holymod. It makes the cab’s interior light turn on with the parking light switch, something the author added because many players asked for it.

Requirements

  • The original Interior Light & Emblems mod, enabled in the Mod Manager.
  • The Cabin Accessories DLC.
  • This add-on has to be above the original mod in the load order.

Compatible trucks

The author says it works on all SCS trucks and has tested it with popular mods: RJL’s Scania RS and R4 and T and T4, Ohaha’s Volvo FH16 2013, Madster’s MAN TGA, SimülasyonTÜRK’s Ford F-Max, the Mercedes-Benz New Actros 2019, Dotec’s Actros MP2, Gloover’s MAN TGX E6, Eugene’s Scania P G R S pack and KP TruckDesign’s Volvo FH 2020.

Version

Braakie updates it with every beta: version 26.09 (September 7, 2026) added 1.61 and 26.10 (October 26, 2026) added the 1.62 beta. If it doesn’t work, check that it’s above the original mod.

How to install it

  1. Subscribe to the original Interior Light & Emblems mod on Steam Workshop.
  2. Open this add-on's page and click “Subscribe”.
  3. Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
  4. Enable both mods and place the add-on above the original.
  5. In your save, turn on the parking lights so the interior light turns on too.

Common problems

Does it work on its own?

No: it's an add-on and needs the Interior Light & Emblems mod.

The light doesn't turn on

Check that the add-on is above the original mod in the Mod Manager.

Does it need DLC?

Yes: Cabin Accessories.

Does it work on modded trucks?

The author has tested it on several, like RJL's Scanias or Gloover's MAN TGX E6.
