What this mod does
In ETS2 quick jobs the game lends you the truck, and sometimes the choice is jarring: a DAF 4×2 hauling a heavy load or a special transport. Quick Job Truck Improvements fixes those configurations with in-game trucks and adds more varied ones. Version 26.09 (September 17, 2026) supports 1.58 to 1.61.
What it changes
- DAF XG+ and XD: the 4×2s for heavy and special loads become 6×4s, and 6×4 and 8×4 versions of the XG+ and XF Robust are added.
- DAF XF Euro 6 and MAN TGX Euro 6: configurations with pre-facelift interiors and engines, which also show up at the used truck dealer.
- Iveco S-Way: retarder on the higher-end versions and a 6×2 for double-trailer jobs.
- Renault T: 2024 configurations, some with the DE13 engine, and beacons from the Tuning Pack if you have it.
- Volvo FH: 6×4s for heavy and special loads on the FH5 and FH6, and black headlights on the FH3 and FH4 with the D16 engine.
DLC and compatibility
It works without DLC, but the heavy cargo configurations need Heavy Cargo Pack, the special transport ones need Special Transport, and each modern truck needs its own DLC. It’s incompatible with other mods that overwrite quick job configurations and only touches stock trucks.

Requirements

- Optional: Heavy Cargo Pack, Special Transport and the DLCs for the recent trucks to see every configuration
- Optional: FH Tuning Pack (headlights) and Renault Trucks T Tuning Pack (beacons)
How to install it
- Go to the ETS2-QJTI page on TruckyMods.
- Download version 26.09.
- Copy the file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Activate it in the Mod Manager and disable any other mods that change quick job trucks.
- Accept a heavy or special quick job to see the new trucks.

Common problems
Do I need any DLC?
It's not required, but without Heavy Cargo, Special Transport or the truck DLCs you won't see every configuration.
Does it add modded trucks?
No. It only uses stock trucks.
Does it change the trucks I buy?
It's designed for quick jobs, although some configurations also show up at the used truck dealer, and the FH6 and the 2025 DAFs can be bought.
