What this mod does
RAGNAROK Economy is an overhaul of the ETS2 economy created by JoseC. The idea is to make progression meaningful without turning your save into an endless grind. Version 1.2.2 is made for ETS2 1.61 and works with ProMods 2.84.
What it changes
- Rebalanced job income, with more weight given to level, skills and cargo type.
- Rare premium jobs that pay quite a bit more.
- Reworked experience and skill progression.
- Loans, fines, damage and wear with steeper costs.
- Readjusted garages, company and hired driver economy.
- More realistic fuel prices and a reworked used truck market.
Installing and updating
It’s a single .scs file for the mod folder. With ProMods, place it above the ProMods Europe DEF file. If you’re coming from 1.2.1, delete the old file, activate the new one and reset the economy with g_force_economy_reset 1 in the console; reload your profile and set it back to 0.
Good to know
1.2.2 only fixes the packaging of 1.2.1 (ZIP errors and files that wouldn’t load) and doesn’t touch the values. ProMods Middle East isn’t supported yet. The first post doesn’t give specific figures for pay or prices.

How to install it
- Open JoseC's thread on the SCS forum and download 1.2.2 from Modsfire.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Activate it in the Mod Manager; with ProMods, above the ProMods Europe DEF.
- If you're updating from 1.2.1, delete the old file before copying the new one.
- In the console type g_force_economy_reset 1, reload your profile and then type g_force_economy_reset 0.

Does it work with ProMods?
Yes, with ProMods 2.84; not with Middle East yet.
Do I have to start a new profile?
The author doesn't require it, but when updating he asks you to reset the economy with g_force_economy_reset.
What does 1.2.2 change?
It only fixes the packaging of 1.2.1; the economy values are the same.
Is it paid?
