What this mod does
Roof Bar with Beacon Slot is a mod by kuramochia that replaces SCS’s roof bar models and adds beacon slots to them. It also lets you mount just the beacons, without the bar.
Supported trucks
- Scania R 2009 and Streamline.
- Scania S and R 2016.
- Volvo FH3, FH4, FH5 and FH6.
- Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4.
On all of them, you can mount the bar with its beacons or just the beacons.
Required DLC
According to Steam and the author’s description, you need the HS-Schoch Tuning Pack, FH Tuning Pack and Holland Style Tuning Pack.
What it’s for
It lets you run beacons built into the roof bar, instead of mounting them separately on the cab, using SCS’s original bars. It has more than 12,000 subscribers on Steam Workshop.

The author marks it for ETS2 1.53 to 1.62 and last updated it on October 23, 2026. It’s about 24.8 MB. Since it overwrites the roof bar models, it may conflict with other mods that change those same parts; the author doesn’t give a load order. How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe.”
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading it.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable “Roof Bar with Beacon Slot[1.53-1.62]” and load your save.
- Take a supported Scania, Volvo FH or Actros MP4 to a service shop.
- Fit a roof bar and pick the beacons in its new slot (or just the beacons).
