What this mod does
PJ BloodMoon, by PedriJoe, turns some nights into blood moons: one in three by default. From 20:00 to 05:00, in-game time, monsters become much more dangerous.
What happens during a blood moon
- All players get an on-screen alert when it starts.
- Hostile monsters’ max health is doubled (
HpMultiplier= 2.0). - Their melee damage is doubled too (
DamageMultiplier= 2.0). - Every now and then, a random player gets a visit from a werewolf.
- At dawn, at 05:00, the survivors go back to their normal health and damage; if they had extra health left, it’s trimmed to the normal max.
Configuration
The multipliers can be changed in a JSON file, with commands or from an interface, and 1.4.0 (September 29, 2026) adds a master switch to turn the mod on or off. It requires PJ CoreLib; it optionally integrates with PJ Money, PJ Difficulty and HySkills. If you want even tougher nights, the same author has Zombie Nights and Mob Events.
This is a file for Hytale 0.6. With Update 7 (0.7), released October 12, 2026, the author has already published a compatible file: version 1.4.1 (October 12, 2026).
