What this mod does
Ellie’s Ideal Greenhouse expands the greenhouse with layouts designed to make the most of it. There are five base sizes, and four of them have a «Rows» variant that sets aside an area for trellis crops with sprinklers in a line.
Layouts
- Modest: 192 tiles with four iridium sprinklers and 8 fruit trees.
- Large: 576 tiles and 16 fruit trees.
- Expanded and Spacious: a crop room and a tree room with space to decorate; Spacious fits 41 fruit trees.
- Enormous: 768 tiles with 16 sprinklers and room for 49 fruit trees.
Requirements and compatibility
It needs SMAPI and Content Patcher; to switch layouts, the author recommends Generic Mod Config Menu. Version 1.5 (August 31, 2024, 29.3 MB) is the Cornucopia update, and the page marks it as Android compatible. Ridgeside Village and Cornucopia add trees to the large maps.
Important: install it with an empty greenhouse, because crops can shift onto unreachable tiles. Don’t use Vortex to install it. It conflicts with other mods that change the greenhouse; with Immersive Farm 2 Remastered or Grandpa’s Farm you need to change an option in those mods.

How to install it
- First install SMAPI and Content Patcher (see their mod pages) and, if you want to choose the layout in-game, Generic Mod Config Menu.
- Before installing it, empty the greenhouse: harvest and remove crops, sprinklers and objects.
- Open the Ellie's Ideal Greenhouse page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Ellie's Ideal Greenhouse 1.5). Don't use Vortex. You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the [CP] Ellie's Ideal Greenhouse folder into the Mods folder inside the game folder. If you had an older version, delete it first.
- Launch the game with SMAPI and choose the layout in the mod menu on the title screen or in config.json.

Common problems
Can I install it with a full greenhouse?
It's not recommended: the author warns that crops can move and become unreachable.
Does it work with Immersive Farm 2 Remastered?
Yes, by setting Disable_IF2R_Greenhouse to true in IF2R. With Grandpa's Farm, set LargerGreenhouse to false.
What does Cornucopia add?
Cornucopia - More Crops and More Flowers, just like Ridgeside Village, add trees to the Spacious and Enormous maps.
