What this mod does
HxW Fairy Garden Furniture, by Himetarts and Wildflour, is one of the biggest sets in their furniture series. It adds more than 100 fairy-tale-style garden pieces, which you can also place inside your house.
What’s included
- More than a dozen fairy houses, added in 3.0.
- Fairy rings that work as rugs, arches, lanterns and benches you can sit on.
- Its own catalogue at Robin’s shop.
- Three palettes to choose from in the config: classic, light or dark.
Requirements and compatibility
It runs on Content Patcher and needs Calcifer and SMAPI. Version 3.0.2 (November 4, 2024, 652 KB) updates the format for 1.6.9.
Known issues: you can walk through the arch’s doorway, because there was no other way to make it passable, and the bonfire’s flames look odd because their position is hardcoded in the game, so it’s best to leave it unlit. On Nexus there’s a Spain Spanish translation by Hayato2236 and a Russian one. It pairs well with HxW Outdoor Furniture, from the same series. The mod’s page doesn’t mention multiplayer.

How to install it
- First install SMAPI, Content Patcher and Calcifer (see their mod pages) and launch the game once with SMAPI to check that everything loads.
- Open the HxW Fairy Garden Furniture page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file ((CP) HxW Fairy Garden Furniture 3.0.2). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder inside the game folder. If you had an older version, delete it first instead of overwriting it.
- If you want the text in Spanish, also install Hayato2236's translation from Nexus Mods, following its instructions.
- Launch the game with SMAPI, buy the Fairy Garden Furniture Catalogue at Robin's shop and pick the furniture from it. You can change the palette in config.json or with Generic Mod Config Menu.
