What this mod does
HxW Outdoor Furniture is the first set in the furniture series by Himetarts (art) and Wildflour (code). It adds more than 35 pieces designed for outdoors, although you can also place them inside your house.
What’s included
- Tables, chairs and benches your farmer can sit on, plus other garden decor.
- Its own catalogue, the Outdoor Furniture Catalogue, which you buy at Robin’s shop.
- Three palettes (classic, light and dark) that you choose in the config.
Requirements and compatibility
It runs on Content Patcher and needs Calcifer, a framework that handles the catalogue, plus SMAPI. Version 2.0 moved it to Content Patcher for 1.6, and 2.0.5 (November 4, 2024, 269 KB) updates the format for 1.6.9.
The authors allow this furniture to be used in custom maps, NPCs and farms as long as this mod is listed as a requirement. It’s part of a series that includes bathroom, greenhouse and fountain furniture and HxW Fairy Garden Furniture, all in matching styles. There are Portuguese and Russian translations; the mod’s page doesn’t mention Spanish or multiplayer.

Requirements

How to install it
- First install SMAPI, Content Patcher and Calcifer (see their mod pages) and launch the game once with SMAPI to check that everything loads.
- Open the HxW Outdoor Furniture page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file ((CP) Outdoor Furniture 2.0.5). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder inside the game folder. If you had an older version, delete it first instead of overwriting it.
- Launch the game with SMAPI, buy the Outdoor Furniture Catalogue at Robin's shop and pick the furniture from it. You can change the palette in config.json or with Generic Mod Config Menu.
