What this mod does
ATS AI Traffic No Default SCS Trucks is a mod by Kass that removes all of SCS’s stock trucks from American Truck Simulator traffic. From then on, the road is filled by the trucks from the traffic packs and mods you have enabled.
What it’s for
Base-game traffic uses only a handful of truck models and gets repetitive fast. If you play with traffic truck packs or real-company skins, this mod makes those trucks appear much more often.

Version and requirements
Version 1.3, from September 18, 2026, is the one for ATS 1.61. It was released in March 2026 and has received an update for every game version since 1.58. It doesn’t require any DLC or other mods, and the page doesn’t give a load order.
Tip
Pair it with at least one traffic truck pack. Kass also has versions for cars and buses, and you can use them together.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on TruckyMods and click the download button (or use the Trucky client).
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Launch ATS and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable the mod along with your traffic truck packs.
- Load your profile and hit the road to check the difference.

Common problems
Does it affect my truck or the dealer trucks?
No. It only removes SCS trucks from AI traffic.
Can I use it with the car version?
Yes. Kass publishes separate versions for cars and buses.
Do I need another mod?
It's a good idea to have a traffic truck pack, since that's what will fill the roads.
