What this mod does
Cummins L10 Straight Pipe Sound is Slav Jerry‘s sound mod for the Cummins L10, a mid-range six-cylinder that’s very different from the big ISX or X15. Version 3.0, from late August 2026, is a complete overhaul.
What’s included
- Cummins L10 from 260 to 330 hp and a tuned 400 hp version, with a straight-pipe exhaust.
- Two-stage engine brake (jake brake).
- Transmission whine and an engine fan that kicks in on its own.
- Distance attenuation, distortion and directional sound based on your position.
- Experimental interior EQ: inside the cab, the exhaust sounds deeper and more muffled.
What’s new in 3.0
It rebuilds the sound bank, adds the two-stage brake, the 400 hp engine and the cab EQ, and expands the list of compatible trucks, although the page doesn’t list them. The previous version, 2.0, was from 2023 and only went up to ATS 1.48.5.

How to install it
- Download version 3.0 from TruckyMods.
- Copy the file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Enable it in the Mod Manager above modded trucks and other sound mods.
- At a service shop, fit one of the Cummins L10 engines to a compatible truck.
