What this mod does

Engine and Transmission compilation mod is a compilation by Rookie_One with engines, transmissions and sounds for American Truck Simulator. It has more than 85,000 subscribers. Each engine is set up according to its official specs. That’s why some versions look duplicated, like two ISX15 600s, but have different torque and curves.

What’s included

  • Cummins with Eaton Integrated and Endurant HD, PACCAR MX with TX-12 and TX-18, and Detroit with DT12.
  • Volvo with four XE variants, and gearboxes with low-range gears that raise the maximum weight.
  • A dedicated sound for each engine.
  • Compatible with GTM’s W900B, T800 and Peterbilt 567, Harven’s W990, the T880, the K100E and the Peterbilt 379X.

Compatibility

It’s not compatible with standalone sound mods. The author recommends using it with Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions, Sound Fixes Pack and Smarty’s Wheel Pack.

Credits

It builds on engine mods by Galimim, Smarty, vsTerminus, Boeing73FLY and LoaderSaint, which he credits. The sounds are mostly by Kriechbaum, with others by Robinicus, SlavJerry, SCS and Drive Safely.

Version

On September 15, 2026 he released 1.61 compatibility. On October 24 he dropped support for 1.50 to 1.54. He also added the 1.61 crawl function for automatic transmissions.
