What this mod does

Road Trip: Unlimited Seat Adjustment, by zhuchek, removes the seat adjustment limits on the cars from American Truck Simulator’s Road Trip DLCs. It’s handy if you can’t find a comfortable position with a wheel and pedals, if you use large monitors, or if you want a very specific driving view.

What it changes

  • Seat: the seat adjustment sliders (F4 key) go from moving the seat about 10 cm to moving it up to 2 meters in each direction.
  • Mouse look: the vertical limit is no longer around +73° and −50°, so you can look straight up and down (±90°).

  • Ford Bronco (2024).
  • Ford Mustang Fastback (1967).
  • Ford Crown Victoria (2006).

The author says more cars will be added as new Road Trip DLCs come out.

Installation

You need the Road Trip: Ford DLC. The author recommends placing the mod at the very top of the Mod Manager. It’s a 45 KB file, released on September 30 and updated on October 1, 2026, with ATS 1.61 already stable, although the description doesn’t list a game version. Nor does it mention compatibility with other interior or camera mods for these cars, such as Police Crown Vic Interior.

How to install it

  1. Open the "Road Trip: Unlimited Seat Adjustment" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
  2. Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
  3. Open your profile's Mod Manager and enable "Road Trip: Unlimited Seat Adjustment".
  4. Place it at the very top of the Mod Manager, as the author recommends.
  5. Inside the car, press F4 to adjust the seat with the new limits.
