What this mod does

Western Canada Expansion – Promods Canada Connections is JacobKazias’ patch that links two of the most popular Canadian maps in ATS by road: his Western Canada Expansion and ProMods Canada.

What it connects

  • Connection via BC-97, rebuilt in version 1.7.3 after the changes in ProMods Canada 1.6.4.
  • Connection to Canmore (Alberta) and access near Cranbrook (British Columbia).
  • Ferries from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert and Bella Coola.

Version

Version 1.7.3.1, from October 25, 2026, is updated for ProMods Canada 1.7.0 and works on ATS 1.61. The patch came out on April 9, 2025, and has over 29,000 downloads on TruckyMods.

Requirements

It needs Western Canada Expansion, ProMods Canada and all SCS map DLCs, including South Dakota.

Author’s load order

  • Western Canada Promods Canada Connections, at the very top.
  • ProMods Canada: def package or the Convoy support one.
  • ProMods Canada: map, assets and models packages, in that order.
  • Western Canada Expansion, at the bottom.

Bugs are reported on the author’s Discord. If you also play with Alaska Expansion, JacobKazias releases a separate patch to connect it to ProMods Canada.

How to install it

  1. Download Western Canada Expansion and this patch from TruckyMods, and ProMods Canada from its official website.
  2. Copy all the .scs files to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
  3. In the Mod Manager, put Western Canada Promods Canada Connections at the very top.
  4. Below it, place the ProMods Canada packages: def (or Convoy support), map, assets and models.
  5. Leave Western Canada Expansion at the very bottom and load your profile.
