What this mod does
The Ibishu Saga is Ibishu’s sporty flagship of the late 80s, a hardtop grand touring coupe built between 1987 and 1991 according to the lore written by its authors, Kueso and LJ74, as part of their KLJP series of Japanese cars. Its lines, they say, influenced the first-generation Ibishu Pessima. Users compare it to a Honda Prelude or a Toyota Supra A70.
What’s included
- Hardtop coupe body with several configs, including race ones.
- Two new boxer engines, developed «with Hirochi»: a 1.8-liter four-cylinder and a 2.6-liter six-cylinder, both front-engine, rear-wheel drive.
- New drivetrains and other extras.
Dependencies and version
It needs Kueso’s KLJP Core Mod (version 1.7 from April 28, 2025), which provides rims, hubcaps and sounds shared by the whole series. Saga version 1.15 is from September 22, 2022 («0.26 Parity Update») and hasn’t been updated since; the author doesn’t state a game version, but a review from October 29, 2026 says it still works on 0.40. It weighs 69.6 MB and has 829,000 downloads with a 4.93 out of 5 rating.
Known issues
The authors themselves admit the jbeam is «a bit messy» and that an animated shifter and openable doors are missing. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 mention missing textures on some versions and race config lights that don’t show up, and ask for an overhaul.
