What this mod does

No Limits Mod for Special Transport DLC, by Frkn64, changes the special transport jobs from the Special Transport DLC in Euro Truck Simulator 2: you can haul oversize loads with no speed limit and no escort cars. It has over 61,000 subscribers.

Two job types

  • With a special route: no escort or pilot car and no speed limit. Steam achievements only work on these routes.
  • Without a special route: oversize loads you can take on any road. These are the ones that support Convoy mode.

Jobs without a special route don’t show up right after installing the mod: you need to let in-game time pass by sleeping several times before they appear.

Requirements

You need the Special Transport DLC installed and enabled. The author also has a paid «Mod Pass» with premium mods and early updates, but this mod is free.

Version and known issues

The description lists versions 1.50 to 1.53, and the last update (1.4) is from September 8, 2024. One user warns that some loads without a special route, such as the heat exchanger, get stuck at tolls and borders.

How to install it

  1. Open the “No Limits Mod v1.4 for Special Transport DLC” page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe”.
  2. Wait for Steam to finish the download.
  3. Launch ETS2, open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
  4. Load your save and sleep several times so the jobs without a special route appear.
  5. Look for the special transport jobs on the freight market.
