What this mod does
Police Data Improved is a mod by Graschi that changes how the police behave and how the fine system works in Euro Truck Simulator 2. The idea is that minor offenses hurt your wallet more and don’t get ignored just because they’re cheap.
What changes
- Higher fines for minor traffic offenses.
- Driving past a patrol car no longer gets you a speeding ticket.
- According to the author, it has no known conflicts with other gameplay mods.
How much you pay
The author has been adjusting the penalties: in March 2026 he changed them again, although they’re still higher than the game’s so they don’t get ignored. Even so, one user was surprised to pay 23,400 euros for going 23 km/h over the limit, so it’s worth driving carefully.
Version
The description, in English, German and Norwegian, says it’s compatible with 1.60. The latest update is from August 2, 2026. In May 2026 there was a bug where the wrong files were uploaded; Graschi fixed it the same day.

For players who want a more realistic game and prefer to stick to the limits. If high fines bother you, it may not be for you.
