What this mod does
Scania Custom Chrome Parts is a mod by kuramochia that adds chrome and painted parts to SCS’s Scania S/R 2016 and, to a lesser extent, the Scania R 2009 and Streamline.
What’s included
- Parts for more than 60 slots on the Scania 2016: grilles, logos, bumpers, headlights, mirrors, exhausts, side skirts, fenders, fuel tank, sun visors and more.
- About 20 slots for the R 2009 and the Streamline.
- Hubcaps with the Scania logo in black, painted or chrome, and the Scania crown in several finishes, including an illuminated one.
- SUPER, V8 and Griffin logos.
- SCS’s stock small lights can be mounted in more places.
Required DLC
According to Steam, you need the Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack, HS-Schoch Tuning Pack and Holland Style Tuning Pack.
Customization
Some parts, such as the sign on the normal cab or the trim pieces, carry their own logo: the author explains how to edit their .dds textures with a sample file. The parts list and some templates are in a GitHub gist linked in the description.
Version
The author’s title lists compatibility with ETS2 1.53 to 1.61. He updates it very often (297 change notes); the latest is from October 18, 2026. It’s about 138.9 MB.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe.”
- Wait for Steam to finish downloading it.
- Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
- Enable “Scania Custom Chrome Parts[1.53-1.61]” and load your save.
- Take your Scania to a service shop.
- Look for the new chrome and painted parts in each tuning section.
