What this mod does

Volvo Custom Chrome Parts is a mod by kuramochia that adds chrome parts to SCS’s Volvos: the FH3, FH4, FH5 and FH6. It’s the Volvo counterpart to his well-known Scania chrome parts.

What’s included

  • Parts for more than 40 slots: grilles, bumpers, logos, mirrors, deflectors, fenders, side skirts, horns, sun visors, fuel tanks, window trims and more.
  • Each part shows which generation it works on; some are FH3-only and others FH6-only.
  • A 6×4 chassis with the fifth wheel moved back, for the FH4, FH5 and FH6.
  • The front sign supports your own logo by editing its .dds textures.
  • The full parts list is published in a GitHub gist by the author.

Required DLC

Steam asks for the FH Tuning Pack, HS-Schoch Tuning Pack, Holland Style Tuning Pack, Volvo FH Series 5 and Volvo FH Series 6. In the description, the author only mentions the three tuning packs.

Version

The author marks it for ETS2 1.60 to 1.62 and updates it very often (more than 200 change notes); the latest is from October 23, 2026. It’s about 175.3 MB. No load order is given.

How to install it

  1. Open the mod's page on Steam Workshop and click “Subscribe.”
  2. Wait for Steam to finish downloading it.
  3. Launch ETS2 and open the Mod Manager.
  4. Enable “Volvo Custom Chrome Parts[1.60-1.62]” and load your save.
  5. Take your Volvo FH to a service shop.
  6. Look for the new chrome parts in each tuning section and, if you like, the new 6x4 chassis.
