Spanish Translation – Traducción en español for Hytale

What this mod does

New (Oct 12, 2026): since Update 7, Hytale has Spanish as an official language. For the base game you no longer need this community translation: choose «Español» in the game settings and, if you had it installed, uninstall it to avoid mixed text.

Hytale doesn’t have official Spanish yet: the game’s website lists it, along with Latin American Spanish, among the languages coming later, with no date. In the meantime, Spanish Translation – Traducción en español, by Erik444, is the community translation on CurseForge that’s kept up to date: its latest file, from August 29, 2026, is released for Update 6 (0.6). It’s a fan project, not made by Hypixel Studios.

What it translates

• The names of all items, according to the author.
• Some actions and messages handled by the game server.
• It keeps the original English text next to the translation, so you can look up an item on the wiki or follow English guides without getting lost.

The author doesn’t mention the client menus or the launcher, so expect those to stay in English.

How the language is chosen

There’s no «Español» option in Hytale’s settings. It’s a server-side mod: the .zip file goes, unzipped, into the mods folder (your local world’s or the server’s), and the author says your Windows or Linux language must be set to Spanish (Spain) or Spanish (Argentina); otherwise the translation may not display properly.

Other translations

On CurseForge there are more downloaded packs that also translate the interface by replacing game files, but their latest file predates Update 6. That’s why we recommend this one: it’s the only Spanish translation updated for 0.6.

Update (Oct 12, 2026): with Update 7 (0.7) now out, the author has already released a compatible file (October 12, 2026). What’s described on this page was tested with the previous version; check the author’s changelog in case anything has changed.

Requirements

• Hytale (Early Access) on PC, version 0.7
• System language (Windows or Linux) set to Spanish (Spain) or Spanish (Argentina), according to the author
• Enable the mod in the world settings or install it on the server
• No other mods needed

How to install it

1. Make sure your operating system language is set to Spanish (Spain or Argentina); the author warns that otherwise the translation may not display properly.
2. Open the mod's page on CurseForge and click Install to install it with the CurseForge app, or download spanish-translation.zip (version 0.6) from the Files tab.
3. If you download it manually, don't unzip it: copy the .zip into the mods folder; on Windows %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
4. Open Hytale, right-click the world, check the mod in the list and save the world settings.
5. On a dedicated server, put the .zip in the server's /mods folder and restart it.
6. Join the world: items will show up in Spanish with the original English name next to them.
