What this mod does

Greenhouse Sprinklers adds irrigation upgrades you order from Robin, like any other farm construction. You pay with money and materials (sprinklers and batteries), and construction takes as long as upgrading a coop or a barn.

Upgrade levels

Level 1: sprinklers in the greenhouse rafters that water every morning.
Level 2: they also water at the end of the day.
Level 3: buried sprinklers across the whole farm, watering in the morning and at night.

To unlock it you need the repaired greenhouse, friendship with the Wizard and his letter; after that the upgrades appear in Robin’s construction menu. There are three difficulty levels for the cost, an option to limit the upgrades and another to hide the visual changes if you use other greenhouse mods.

Compatibility

Version 3.0.0 was rewritten for 1.6 and no longer works on 1.5. The current file is 3.2.3 (April 15, 2026, 90 KB), which fixes a crash with certain mods; 3.2.0 added Generic Mod Config Menu. It works with expanded greenhouses, with Ellie’s Ideal Greenhouse and with Custom Greenhouse, but probably not with multi-room greenhouses like Multiplayer Greenhouse. Spanish is included. It requires SMAPI.

How to install it

Install SMAPI first (see its mod page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
Open the Greenhouse Sprinklers page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Greenhouse Sprinklers 3.2.3). You need a free Nexus account to download.
Extract the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
Launch the game with SMAPI and, once you have the greenhouse and the Wizard's letter, open Robin's construction menu to order the first upgrade.
