What this mod does
More AI Traffic is a traffic density mod for ATS. It raises AI spawn limits and probabilities so roads and cities fill up, with the exception of semi trucks and emergency vehicles, which stay under control.
What it changes
- More traffic, with jams and accidents on the road.
- Tweaked traffic behavior and flow, and higher speed limits.
- Traffic lights with longer cycles.
- Fewer AI trucks and buses.
- Traffic rules by Cipinho and Alin Todor, credited by the author.
Compatibility
The author says it’s compatible with all maps and DLC and with Convoy. The thread contradicts itself about other traffic mods: one part says it works with any AI pack, and another says it only works with Jazzycat’s. The safe bet is not to combine it with other density mods, like Real Traffic Density or Brutal Traffic, which change the same things.
Version
The thread was updated on September 30, 2026 with the version for ATS 1.61. The author asks you not to edit his files and to report bugs in the comments.
