What this mod does
Sierra Nevada is the other big expansion by Eblem, the author of Reforma. If you already play with the Mexico map and want to round out the West with more faithful mountain roads, this mod reworks and expands the range between California and Nevada.
What it adds
- Recreations of Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park and the city of Reno.
- US 50 east of Sacramento to South Lake Tahoe.
- Sonora Pass (CA 108) and Tioga Pass (CA 120).
- CA 41 toward Fresno and Yosemite Valley with the Tunnel View overlook.
Who it’s for
For anyone looking for technical driving, with curves, grades and high-mountain scenery, and for those who already use the Reforma team’s maps and want to expand them in a consistent style. Version 1.19 is updated for ATS 1.61 and improves the rest areas.
The author himself warns that the mod will become obsolete when SCS releases its official Nevada rework, so it’s worth checking whether it still makes sense after each game update.

How to install it
- Download Reforma Mega Resources and Reforma Sierra Nevada from TruckyMods.
- Copy the .scs files to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Enable both in the Mod Manager.
- Keep Sierra Nevada above Mega Resources; if you use Reforma, place it above the Reforma map file.
- Start the game and check on the map that Reno and Lake Tahoe show up.

Common problems
Do I need the Reforma map?
The official page only requires Reforma Mega Resources; it can be used alongside Reforma, but it isn't listed as mandatory.
Does it have anything to do with Mexico?
No: it's a California and Nevada expansion made by the Reforma team, designed to be combined with their map.
Will it keep working in future versions?
The author says it will become obsolete when SCS releases its Nevada rework.
