What this mod does
HiStakes is a set of UI apps for BeamNG.drive created by DasSheep: gauges, a multifunction display (MFD) and a flight instrument suite. You can use it for a single gauge, to build a full dashboard or as a standalone display, and the author says it runs at over 60 FPS.
What’s included
- Drop-in replacements for six stock apps, such as the tachometer, speedometer, boost gauge or minimap, without moving your UI layout.
- Individual gauges for RPM, speed, boost, power, torque, temperatures or estimated range, with lots of needle styles.
- A combined HUD with launch control, speed limit signs and warnings.
- An MFD with vehicle status and damage, navigation on a generated map of the level, a proximity radar with trailer guidance, an acceleration timer and an experimental virtual rearview mirror.
- Flight mode with cockpit instruments for planes.
Compatibility
The October 20, 2026 update is titled «0.40 Compatibility». It includes features for BeamMP and is translated into 14 languages, Spanish among them.
Tips
The global settings are in the pause menu, in the HiStakes tab of the Mods section. The first time you load a map, the world map is prepared in the background and can take minutes; pausing the game speeds it up. If a new gauge loses its settings, adjust the gauges one at a time.

Requirements

- About 3 MB of free space for the .zip file
- Up to 2 GB of cache for prepared maps
How to install it
- Open the HiStakes page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download to get the .zip, or subscribe from the in-game Repository (Subscribe button).
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip, without unzipping it, into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game and check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled.
- Open the pause menu, go to Mods > HiStakes and turn on the stock app replacements or add its widgets.

Yes. The author has translated it into 14 languages, Spanish among them, and it follows the game's language setting.

Yes. Version 0.1.7d, from October 20, 2026, is the 0.40 compatibility update.
Can I go back to the stock apps?
Yes. Each replacement can be turned off to restore the original app.
