CJB Show Item Sell Price for Stardew Valley

What this mod does

CJB Show Item Sell Price does one very specific thing: when you hover over an item in your inventory or toolbar, it shows its sell price per unit and the stack total next to the cursor. That way you instantly know what everything you’re carrying is worth.

Why it’s worth it

• No need to check the wiki to know what’s worth more.
• Helps you decide what to sell and what to keep when your inventory fills up.
• No configuration or commands: install it and it works.

Compatibility

Version 1.11.0 (April 20, 2026) requires SMAPI 4.1.10 or later and works with Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later, on Windows, macOS and Linux, in single-player and multiplayer. It’s fully compatible with the Price Catalogue added in 1.6.15, and the author doesn’t list any conflicts. It was created by CJBok and has been maintained by Pathoschild since 2017; it’s open source.

Don’t confuse it with CJB Cheats Menu, by the same original creator: that’s a cheats menu, a different mod. This one only shows info and doesn’t change prices or give you items. Nexus links a Spain Spanish translation by Gonzy42. If you want even more data on each item, combine it with Lookup Anything.

Requirements

• Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later (PC)
• SMAPI 4.1.10 or later

How to install it

1. Install SMAPI first (see its mod page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
2. Open the CJB Show Item Sell Price page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (CJB Show Item Sell Price 1.11.0). You need a free Nexus account to download.
3. Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into Mods, inside the game folder (on Steam for Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods).
4. Launch the game with SMAPI, open your inventory and hover over an item: you'll see its price next to the cursor.
