What this mod does
Lake Cabin (A-Frame) adds a small retreat to ATS: a secluded A-frame cabin on the shore of a lake in northern Washington. It’s not just decoration: it works as a buyable garage where you can keep trucks and trailers, so you can turn it into your base of operations.
What’s included
- Cabin with a full interior, rebuilt in version 1.1 with high-quality models made with Masons Mod Shop.
- Reworked surroundings: a creek, stairs, a new fence and gate, solar panels and ambient sounds.
- Three variants: A-Frame (summer), winter and a rustic version.
Compatibility
You need the Washington DLC. If you use other maps that edit that area, the author asks you to place the cabin above them in the Mod Manager, or it may not show up. Don’t mix the summer and winter versions. The winter one only looks right with a snow mod, like Frosty Winter Weather.
Version
The latest revision of the mod is 1.1.5, from December 14, 2024 (fence fixes and winter materials). TruckyMods tags it for all game versions and the author maintains the thread, last edited in July 2026, but he doesn’t mention testing on 1.61: if the cabin doesn’t show up, let him know in the thread.

How to install it
- Download the version you want (A-Frame, winter or rustic) from TruckyMods.
- Copy the .scs to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- In the Mod Manager, place it above any other maps that touch northern Washington.
- Find the cabin in northern Washington and buy it as a garage.

Is it a real garage?
Yes. Since 1.0.2 the cabin works as a buyable garage for trucks and trailers.
Can I use the summer and winter versions at the same time?
No. The author asks you to use only one.
Do I need any DLC?
Yes, Washington.
