What this mod does
Trucksmap USA isn’t a giant map but a set of targeted improvements to the official western map. It fills gaps with «secret» roads (stretches that don’t show up on the GPS until you drive them), new rest areas and areas you can discover on the world map.
What it changes in the game
- California: a secret road on California 99 with a branch from I-5, a California Aqueduct viewpoint near Mojave, a rest area by the Golden Gate and areas on Route 97 toward Klamath Falls.
- Santa Clarita: a discoverable city north of Los Angeles with its own cargo company, better signs and the Old Road toward CA-14.
- Nevada: the Wells area, the Elko rest area, a Jackpot pull-off and a secret road next to Nevada Route 140, above Winnemucca.
- Oregon: rest areas on both sides of Route 20, east and west of Burns.
Who it’s for
For anyone who runs West Coast routes and wants more places to stop and more roads to discover without installing a huge map. It works on top of the base map with the Oregon and Utah DLC.
Version
Version 1.7pa1 (September 25, 2026) fixes blank or overwritten signs when combined with other maps. Compatibility with 1.61 arrived on September 19.

How to install it
- Open the Trucksmap USA page on TruckyMods and download the latest version.
- Copy the .scs file to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
- Launch the game and enable Trucksmap USA in the Mod Manager.
- Place it above maps or mods that edit California, Nevada, Oregon or Utah.
- Load your profile and visit Santa Clarita or California 99 to discover the new areas.

Common problems
Is it compatible with More American Cities?
Not with More American Cities (California) since version 1.4 of the mod; according to the author, the Nevada version hasn't been tested yet.
What's a secret road?
A stretch that isn't marked on the map until you drive it; the mod adds several in California and Nevada.
Do I get blank signs with other maps?
Version 1.7pa1 fixed that sign definition bug; update to the latest version.
