What this mod does

CanaMania is the long-standing Canada map for American Truck Simulator, the one many people knew as Canadream. ManiaX started it in 2016, and today it’s maintained by Homburg, who updates it with every version of the game.

What it adds

  • Western and eastern Canadian provinces to cross the border with your truck.
  • Connections to the base map and to Coast to Coast, which it depends on.
  • Ongoing fixes, such as the terrain near Bismarck (North Dakota) or a new road connection to Manitoba.

How it fits with other maps

It doesn’t work on its own: it needs the latest version of Coast to Coast, which in turn requires the official map DLC. If you already play with Coast to Coast, CanaMania is the natural way to keep heading north.

Watch the version

Homburg warns that he now only keeps it up to date and fixes serious bugs, without adding new content. The latest released version is 2.60.0 (July 5, 2026), built for ATS 1.60. On 1.61 the game will flag it as outdated until the update comes out; if it gives you errors when loading, wait for the new version.

  • The map DLC that Coast to Coast requires

How to install it

  1. Install Coast to Coast first from its official page.
  2. Open the CanaMania page on TruckyMods and download the latest version (or use the TruckyMods manager).
  3. Copy the .scs files to Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod.
  4. In the Mod Manager, enable CanaMania above Coast to Coast, following the load order the author gives.
  5. Start a new profile or load yours and head for the Canadian border.

Common problems

Does it work without Coast to Coast?

No. Since version 2.59, the author requires the latest version of Coast to Coast.

Does it run on ATS 1.61?

The latest version is for 1.60. Until Homburg releases the update, it may fail on 1.61 or show up as an outdated mod.

Is it the same as Canadream?

Yes, it's the same map under a new name, maintained by Homburg.
