Single and Turnpike Double Lowboys (0xferd) for American Truck Simulator

What this mod does

Single and Turnpike Double lowboys is a pack by 0xferd with single and double Turnpike-style lowboys. It’s an alternate version of his Double & Triple lowboys mod, with a center dolly you can fit with bumpers, mud flaps and other parts.

Configurations

• Singles: 2 axles (14,500 lb, 45 ft), 2 axles with gooseneck (67 ft), 3 axles (20,200 lb, 50 ft) and 3 axles with gooseneck (72 ft).
• Articulated double with 6 axles (3+3, 72 ft).
• Turnpike doubles: from 5 axles (2+1+2, 103 ft) up to 12 axles (3+3+3+3, 154 ft and 63,600 lb).

There are no state restrictions, and the author lists it as compatible with Coast to Coast, ProMods Canada, Project Arizona and Reforma.

Before you install it

The author recommends raising r_buffer_page_size to 50 or 60 in config.cfg (Documents/American Truck Simulator); the game ships with 10. It doesn’t work on TruckersMP because of its custom chassis and accessories; it does work in Convoy, as long as everyone has the same version.

Version

Version 1.4 was published on October 8 and updated on October 21, 2026. It may show up with a blank icon and no description in the Mod Manager, which according to the author doesn’t affect the game.

• Steam account
• Recommended: r_buffer_page_size at 50 or 60 (config.cfg)

How to install it

1. Open the "Single and Turnpike Double lowboys by 0xferd" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
2. Launch American Truck Simulator and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
3. Open the Mod Manager in your profile and enable "Single and Turnpike Double lowboys by 0xferd".
4. Close the game, open Documents/American Truck Simulator/config.cfg and change r_buffer_page_size to 50 or 60.
5. Go to the trailer dealer and pick the lowboy configuration you want.
