Turkey is one of the destinations Euro Truck Simulator 2 players ask for most, and it makes sense: the game has a huge community there. Today ETS2 only covers the European part of the country, with the Road to the Black Sea DLC, but SCS Software is already working on Soul of Anatolia, an expansion dedicated to Anatolia. In this guide you’ll find what’s officially available, what’s confirmed about the new DLC and the Turkish mods we’ve reviewed, all with downloads on their author’s page.
Official Turkey: Road to the Black Sea
Road to the Black Sea came out on December 5, 2019. According to the SCS announcement, it adds Romania, Bulgaria and the European part of Turkey, with more than 10,000 km of roads, 20 new major cities in total, border crossings with detailed checkpoints, and local traffic, trains and trams.
The Turkish part is small but very recognizable. It has three cities:
- Edirne, the gateway from Bulgaria.
- Tekirdağ, on the coast of the Sea of Marmara.
- İstanbul, which SCS presented as the largest city in Europe.
They’re linked by the Turkish motorway network (otoyol O-3 and O-7) along with the D.100 and D.110 national roads. Anatolia, the Asian part of the country, isn’t in the base game or in any released DLC: on the official map, Turkey ends at İstanbul.
How to get to Turkey in ETS2
First you need the Road to the Black Sea DLC; without it, Turkey doesn’t exist on your map. From there:
- From Bulgaria: the Bulgarian motorway takes you to the border and to Edirne, and from there the O-3 continues to İstanbul.
- From Greece: if you also have the Greece DLC, there’s a road connection with the Greek A2 motorway (via the D.110).
- Your first route: look in the freight market for a job to İstanbul from a Bulgarian or Romanian city. If your garage is in western Europe, it’s a long trip; use it to get to know the border checkpoints the DLC adds.
If you’re missing a map DLC, our ETS2 DLC guide has the full list in release order.
Other official content with a Turkish flavor
- Tirsan Trailer Pack (October 30, 2023): six trailers from Turkish manufacturer Tırsan, including a curtainsider, a reefer, a tipper, a flatbed and two container carriers, with optional parts and accessories.
- Turkish Paint Jobs Pack: official SCS paint job DLC with Turkish designs for the trucks.
Soul of Anatolia: what’s confirmed
SCS announced Soul of Anatolia on April 15, 2026 on its blog and opened the Steam page so you can add it to your wishlist. Here’s what it has confirmed:
- The route starts in İstanbul and reaches Aksaray, the easternmost point of the expansion.
- Ankara appears as the capital and a major crossroads of the region.
- In the south there will be the tourist cities of Antalya and Alanya, and inland the salt lake Tuz Gölü.
- Three bridges will serve as gateways to Anatolia: the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, the Yavuz Sultan Selim and the Osmangazi.
- There will be coastal roads in the north and south, and mountain routes with steep climbs and tight bends.
Since then, SCS has been showing the development. In June it introduced the team, led by the person in charge of the Greece DLC, and mentioned the southern coast, the southern mountain ranges and the Sultanhanı caravanserai. In late July it showed the new generic buildings that will be used to build the map, about 300 according to the specialized press. In September it explained that the expansion will have more than a hundred large motorway interchanges and that the map is still at an early stage.
Release date: there isn’t one. The Steam page says «To be announced» and SCS warns that the content may change until launch. The price isn’t known either, nor whether it will require Road to the Black Sea. Any date you see out there is a guess, not an official announcement.
Turkey map mods
Until Soul of Anatolia arrives, mods are the only way to drive through Anatolia. These are the ones with a clear author and an official download:
- ProMods Middle East: the ProMods add-on that takes your routes to Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Version 2.84 is for ETS2 1.61 and needs ProMods Europe and seven map DLCs. If you’ve never installed it, follow our ProMods installation guide.
- Real Bus Turkey 1:1 Map: a real-scale map between Bursa, İnegöl and Bozüyük designed for coaches, with real terminals, announcements in Turkish and Turkish companies. Version 1.4.2 is for ETS2 1.61.
Lots of «Türkiye haritası» downloads circulate on Turkish websites, but many have no identifiable author or official page, or they’re re-uploads of old maps. That’s why we don’t include them: if a map doesn’t say who makes it or where it comes from, you’re better off not installing it.
Turkish companies, liveries and traffic
To give your fleet and the roads a Turkish feel, these mods are on Steam Workshop and we’ve reviewed them one by one:
- Türk Şirketleri Boya Paketi: liveries of Ekol, Mars Lojistik, Horoz Lojistik, Borusan, Arkas, ARC, Gökbora and Sütaş for Krone, Schwarzmüller, Tırsan and Schmitz trailers.
- Hüner Global Lojistik: truck (Volvo FH), Tırsan trailer and traffic with the same livery.
- Turkish Cargo & TIRSAN: Turkish Cargo paint job for the trailers from the Tırsan DLC.
- Türk Dorse Firmaları: SCS trailers with Turkish company liveries, for sale and in traffic, with no trailer DLC.
- Türk Firmalar: replaces the companies on the map and in contracts with 105 Turkish brands such as BİM, A101, Ülker or Arçelik.
- Kamyon Arkası Yazılar: twenty Turkish phrases for trailer mud flaps, in the style of the ones you see on the road.
And if you’re looking for cab accessories, SiSL’s Mega Pack, by SiSL (Selçuk İslamoğlu), is one of the most complete packs in the game.
Playing with Turkish lira
SG Türk Lirası Gerçekçi Ekonomi switches the whole economy to lira with real 2026 prices: trucks, diesel in 36 countries, freight rates, ferries and fines based on the Turkish traffic code. It’s not a money cheat, quite the opposite: your save gets harder. It’s listed for 1.60 and can’t be combined with other economy mods.
For bus fans
In Turkey, coach simulation has a huge following, but ETS2 doesn’t include buses out of the box: to drive them you need a mod, and our ETS2 bus guide explains the options. Real Bus Turkey is the perfect add-on for them, with real terminals (otogar) and announcements in Turkish. There are lots of Turkish bus mods online, but several don’t say where the 3D model comes from or who made it; on Holymod we only list the ones with a clear author and permissions.
Before you download a Turkish mod
- Author and official page: check who makes it and download it from their page (Steam Workshop, TruckyMods, the SCS forum or their website). Copies on other sites may be outdated or modified.
- Game version: check which version it’s made for or, if it doesn’t say, when it was last updated.
- DLC: paint jobs for branded trailers (Krone, Schwarzmüller, Tırsan…) don’t show up if you don’t have that trailer’s DLC.
- Combinations: don’t enable two economy mods at once, or two mods that change the same companies.
How to install these mods
- Steam Workshop mods are installed by clicking «Subscribe» on their page; when you open the game they show up in the Mod Manager.
- Mods from TruckyMods or the author’s website are downloaded and copied into
Documentos\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod. - Enable each mod in the Mod Manager and respect the load order: small mods (paint jobs, economy) at the top; maps at the bottom, in the order their author specifies.
- Check the version: almost all of these mods list a specific game version or a date. If you play on 1.61, test the older ones on a separate profile.
All the steps are explained in our guide to installing ETS2 mods.

There’s no date. The Steam page says «To be announced» and SCS has only confirmed cities, bridges and landscapes. You can add it to your wishlist to find out when they announce it.
Which cities will Soul of Anatolia have?
SCS has confirmed İstanbul as the starting point, Ankara, Antalya, Alanya and Aksaray as the easternmost point, plus Lake Tuz Gölü. Other cities that appear in videos or screenshots haven’t been officially announced.
