ETS2 trailer mods

Here are 21 mods for trailers in Euro Truck Simulator 2: semi-trailers you can buy for your company, packs of new cargoes for the freight market, trailers from real manufacturers like Krone, Kögel, Schröder or Randon, and parts like mud flaps. Most are free and many are up to date for 1.61, the current version (1.62 is in open beta). Each mod page links to the official download and lists which DLC and which other mods it needs.

The best ETS2 trailer mods to start with

• Trailers and Cargo Pack by Jazzycat: 175 trailers, 772 cargoes and around 3000 skins integrated into hundreds of companies. It works on any map and is up to date for 1.61.
• Schröder Volume Curtainsider: high-volume curtainsiders in four variants, from XL to Jumbo XXL, that you buy at the dealer. Free, for 1.60 and 1.61.
• Ewers Semitrailers: a drop-side box trailer and a sliding curtainsider with 2 or 3 axles, self-steering axle and tail lift, with their own dealer. Free for 1.61.
• Randon bitrem and semi-trailer: Brazilian trailers, a bitrem and a single semi-trailer, that show up in the freight market. From 1.54 to 1.61.
• Krone Swap Body Pack: a library of 14 Krone swap bodies used as a dependency by other swap body carrier mods. Version for 1.61; requires the Krone Trailer Pack DLC.
• Military Cargo Pack by Jazzycat: 208 military cargoes at 74 companies on the base map, the DLC, RusMap and EAA. Standalone and for 1.61.
• STD and CNT HCT trailers Spain compatible: lets you use SCS's "duo trailers" in Spain. A free 61 kB mod.
• Kögel Trailers by Dotec: curtainsider, Mega, box, EuroCombi and car transporter modeled from scratch, with a steering axle and a Palfinger forklift. Version marked for 1.58.

What to keep in mind

• Ownable or cargo: ownable trailers (Ewers, Schröder, NTM, Feldbinder KIP) are bought at the dealer for your company; cargo packs like Jazzycat's show up in the freight market.
• DLC and other mods: Krone LHV Type 3 needs the Krone DLC, the Krone Swap Body Pack and the Swap Body Carrier Chassis Pack. Install the dependencies first.
• Spain: besides the HCTs, there's a mud flap pack from nine Spanish manufacturers like Lecitrailer, Parcisa or Sor.
• Version: not all of them keep pace with SCS; some trailers are marked for 1.58 or 1.60. Check the mod page.
• Installation: subscribe on Steam Workshop or copy the .scs to DocumentsEuro Truck Simulator 2mod and activate it in the Mod Manager of each profile. In Convoy, everyone needs the same mods as the session.
