What this mod does
Maggs Immersive Sebastian Romance Core, by MaggPlays, is a very story-driven Sebastian romance expansion. It adds dialogue, events, map changes and items, also for his family and friends, and assumes you want to date him and get married.
Three versions (pick one)
- Slow Burn: a story of at least two and a half years in which Sebastian starts out as not romanceable; it includes a reverse confession and proposal, a custom wedding and lots of extra events. Requires a new save.
- Speed Run: heart-based and chained so you can complete it in the first year.
- Lite: for players with multiple spouses; it removes whatever breaks those saves.

Custom event sprites, dates after the wedding, pregnancy and birth events (which you can turn off with the no-children option) and story items at the Traveling Cart. Sebastian is portrayed as shy and socially awkward.
Requirements and compatibility
It requires SMAPI, Content Patcher, SpaceCore, Generic Mod Config Menu and, except in Lite, Custom Tokens and ScriptCommandPlus. Version 5.0.33 is from July 10, 2026. Fast Events must be set to 1, and it’s not compatible with mods that change the Carpenter’s Shop, the Wizard’s Tower or the wedding. The author doesn’t guarantee multiplayer or mobile support. There’s a Spanish translation on Nexus.

Requirements
- Stardew Valley 1.6.x (PC)
- SMAPI 4.x

How to install it
- First install SMAPI and Content Patcher (see their mod pages) and launch the game once with SMAPI to check that everything loads.
- Install SpaceCore and Generic Mod Config Menu (see their mod pages) and, except for Lite, Custom Tokens and ScriptCommandPlus from Nexus.
- Open the Maggs Immersive Sebastian Romance page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (pick only one: Slow Burn, Speed Run or Lite 5.0.33). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder inside the game folder.
- If you want to play in Spanish, install Soraai's translation following its instructions and check that it matches your version.
- If you use Fast Events, set it to 1 so events don't break.

Which version should I choose?
Slow Burn for a long story on a new save, Speed Run to complete it in the first year and Lite if you play with multiple spouses.
Do I need Miss Coriel's Unique Courtship Response?
No; the author says it's no longer needed since 1.6.
Does it work in multiplayer?
The author doesn't guarantee it and may not be able to fix multiplayer or mobile bugs.
