Mods compatible with ATS 1.61

Version 1.61 is the current stable version of American Truck Simulator: it was released on September 15, 2026. Here's what's new, according to the SCS Software blog:Proximity exploration: the map is only revealed in a small area around your truck.Groundwork for Road Trip: Tourist Boards (not active yet) in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and the upcoming South Dakota DLC, plus new gas stations.New cargo (seed containers, trailers and beams) and a new model for the rail cargo.An improved material system in the International LT and International LoneStar interiors.Version 1.62 has been in open beta since October 20, 2026 (Steam's public_beta branch), with more Tourist Boards, the Route 66 board and the 2025 Volvo VNL in traffic. It's a beta: many mods haven't been updated for it yet.Does a mod work on this version? Check the compatible version on each mod page: maps and complex trucks usually need the exact version, while skins and sounds often work even if the Mod Manager shows a warning. If something breaks, check the load order.
