ETS2 traffic mods

Here are 23 mods for traffic in Euro Truck Simulator 2: packs that add cars, buses, trucks and emergency vehicles to traffic, AI density and behavior mods, and liveries of real companies for traffic, including Spanish ones like Correos, SEUR or Alsa. Most are free and up to date for 1.61, the current version (1.62 is in open beta). Each mod page links to the official download and tells you whether it needs another mod.

The best ETS2 traffic mods to start with

• AI Traffic Pack by Jazzycat: 473 new cars, trailers for cars, police from 11 countries and around 600 vans. It works on its own and with any map.
• Real Traffic Density: adjusts the amount and mix of traffic by time of day and road type, using real data. Free; it requires keeping g_traffic at 1.
• Brutal Traffic: realistic traffic jams, more natural AI at junctions and density that changes between day and night and with rain. It doesn't add vehicles; it also requires g_traffic 1.
• Bus Traffic Pack by Jazzycat: 43 buses and coaches (Setra, Neoplan, Irizar, Ayats…) and more than 1,300 paint jobs. Up to date for 1.61.
• Mr Larrington's ETS2 Traffic And Trailer Pack: double trailers, B-doubles, B-triples and HCT combinations in traffic, with cargoes from your DLC. Version 1.61.0.
• Emergency vehicles by Egon: 46 police, ambulance and customs vehicles from 20 countries, with working lights. Only for 1.61 or later.
• Parcel vans AI Traffic: vans from 19 parcel delivery companies, like Correos, SEUR, MRW or NACEX, spread across countries. More than 67,000 subscribers.
• European liveries of traffic bus AI: Alsa, Avanza, Monbus or Flixbus coaches in traffic, each in its own countries. Johnny_Berm's most popular mod.

How to set up your traffic

• Three types of mod: those that add vehicles (Jazzycat, Egon), those that change density and behavior (Real Traffic Density, Brutal Traffic) and the "No Default" ones that remove SCS's vehicles, like AI Traffic No Default SCS Cars, which need at least one vehicle pack.
• Only one density mod: Real Traffic Density and Brutal Traffic change the same things; if you activate both, the one higher up in the Mod Manager wins. Both require g_traffic at 1.
• ProMods: Mr Larrington has a ProMods add-on with liveries from Europe, the Maghreb and the Middle East.
• By country: some only apply in one area, like GMC's British traffic or the Spanish tow trucks from Mapfre, Allianz and RACC.
• Installation: subscribe on Steam Workshop or copy the .scs to DocumentsEuro Truck Simulator 2mod and activate it in the Mod Manager of each profile. In Convoy everyone needs the same mods.
