Does it run on a laptop or with integrated graphics?
The official minimum is a dedicated graphics card with 3 GB of VRAM and DirectX 12, so GIANTS doesn’t officially support Intel or AMD integrated graphics. On a laptop, the graphics card is what matters: one with a GTX 1650 or better meets or beats the minimum, while one with only integrated graphics falls short of what the store page asks for. On Mac, on the other hand, the Apple M1 chip is within the minimum requirements.
Settings for low-end PCs
- Upscaling: the game supports DLSS and FSR 3; since patch 1.11 it also added DLSS Frame Generation for RTX 40 and 50 series cards.
- Shadows and foliage: these are the most demanding settings on maps with lots of forest or tall crops.
- Drive: installing the game and your mods on an SSD cuts savegame loading times a lot.
- Small maps: they handle fewer objects than large 4x maps or maps with dozens of production chains.
How much more demanding it gets with mods

A large map with its required mods can add more than 1.5 GB to your drive and load far more objects into memory than the official maps. Automation mods like Courseplay are small, but they add CPU load when several helpers are driving at once. If your PC is at the minimum, try the official maps first and add mods one at a time.
