ATS skin mods

Here are 20 mods with skins for American Truck Simulator: real and fictional carrier paint jobs for trucks and dry vans, Mexican designs like ¡Viva México!, police liveries for the Road Trip cars, improved metallic paint and templates to create your own. Many don't list a game version; the ones that do work on 1.61, the stable version (1.62 is in open beta).

The best ATS skins to start with

• ¡Viva México! Skin Pack: paint jobs inspired by Mexico's national holidays and folklore for the Kenworth T680 and for dry, insulated and refrigerated vans from 32 to 53 feet.
• Swift Transportation: six SCS trucks and the 28-, 48- and 53-foot dry van, with beta traffic versions.
• Maersk for dry van and Kenworth T680: a dry van with side skirts in any color and the new T680 in four versions.
• Primeway Logistics Skin Pack: 19 SCS trucks, from the Cascadia to the 2025 Volvo VNL and the Western Star 5700XE, with the game's fictional company.
• Realistic Custom Metallic Paint Mod: custom colors get fine flakes, better reflections and more depth. Works on SCS trucks and many mod trucks.
• Ford Crown Victoria - 21 State Trooper Liveries: highway patrol cars from 21 states in 8K for the Road Trip Crown Victoria. Requires Crown Vic Pack.
• Lost Bayou and Fireblade: two packs by Goggles56 for SCS trailers in every double and triple configuration.
• Complete pack of truck & trailer templates: PSD and PNG templates for every ATS truck and trailer, complete up to 1.59.

Before you install a skin

• Which vehicle it's for: each pack lists the trucks and trailers it covers. Paint jobs for mod trucks need that truck installed separately, like Case IH for Jon Ruda's trucks or Eagle Feather for FLX's Peterbilt 359.
• DLC: some require truck or trailer DLC; Midwest Refrigerated Services requires three.
• Mexican touch: combine ¡Viva México! with the plates from all 32 states and the South American flags, from the trucks category.
• Make your own: with the Carsmaniac templates and Paint Job Packer, which also works for ATS.
• Real brands: these are fan creations with no connection to the companies.
• Installation: subscribe on Steam Workshop or copy the file into DocumentsAmerican Truck Simulatormod and activate it in your profile's Mod Manager; the paint job appears when you customize the truck or trailer.
