Hytale map mods

Here are 9 mods that add maps to Hytale: instanced dungeons, new structures that appear when the world is generated, a horror dimension, a salt flats biome and prefabs to paste into your world. They all link to the author's official download. Keep an eye on the version: these mods are marked for 0.6 or Update 6, and Hytale is on 0.7.3 (Update 7), with Update 8 in pre-release. Check on CurseForge whether they already have a file for 0.7.

The best Hytale maps to start with

• GlymeraStructures: multiplies the villages, dungeons, temples, camps, cities and shipwrecks the game generates, with density adjustable from 1 to 100%. Version 9.0.0 for 0.6.
• MAJOR DUNGEONS: multi-level instanced dungeons with bosses, mimics and a merchant who takes dark coins. You enter through the Ancient Portal after collecting 100 memories.
• Dungeons and more Structures: 16 new structures (camps, mines, airships, taverns and floating islands) and an island with a multi-phase boss.
• The Salt Flats: a salt flats biome you travel to through the ancestral gate, with a canyon variant and three cave types. Version 1.4 for 0.6.
• Below Every Heaven: a horror dimension opened with a crafted key; if you defeat the boss Harlow, you get his armor. Version 1.5.1 for 0.6.
• Elemental Church Pack: six elemental-themed ruined churches to place in your world with the Paste tool.

Before installing a map

• New areas: Dungeons and more Structures only places its structures in unexplored areas, so in an advanced world you'll have to travel away from places you've already visited to find them.
• Back up your world: copy the world folder before adding or removing a map mod, and don't open it again with an older version of the game.
