What this mod does
Gwen’s Medieval Craftables is the third piece of Gweniaczek’s medieval style, alongside Medieval Buildings and Way Back Pelican Town. It changes the look of the items you craft and place on your farm, with seasonal variants.
Options
- Seven different lamp posts, several signs and sprinkler models.
- Optional snow on objects in winter.
- Steel or gold fittings for kegs, casks, hoppers, chests, the Junimo Chest and the Mini-Shipping Bin.
- An option to remove the cheese icon and mayonnaise jars from machines, if you prefer a cleaner look.
Requirements and compatibility
It needs SMAPI and Content Patcher. Version 2.5 (March 27, 2024, 12.1 MB) is updated for 1.6 and retextures most of the new craftables. The page marks it as Android compatible.
The colors are matched to recolors like DaisyNiko’s Earthy Recolour and Vibrant Pastoral. There’s an Alternative Textures version on a separate page and an optional file with sprinklers for Prismatic Tools. There are Chinese translations, but the mod has almost no text. The page doesn’t mention multiplayer.

How to install it
- First install SMAPI and Content Patcher (see their mod pages) and launch the game once with SMAPI to check that everything loads.
- Open the Gwen's Medieval Craftables page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Gwen's Medieval Craftables 2.5). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder inside the game folder. If you had an older version, delete it first instead of overwriting it.
- Launch the game with SMAPI so config.json is generated and choose lamp posts, signs, sprinklers, fittings and snow there.

Common problems
Do I need Medieval Buildings?
No, it works on its own, but they're designed to be combined.
Can I choose each item's look in-game?
With this file you choose it in config.json. To pick item by item with scissors, the author publishes an Alternative Textures version on another page.
Does it include the 1.6 items?
Yes, 2.5 adds most of the new craftables.
