What this mod does
Visit Mount Vapius, by Lumisteria (who also made some widely used tilesheets), adds a mountain area to visit: the village of Glimsap and Mount Vapius, with their residents, their market and plenty of corners to discover.
What it adds
- New areas: Glimsap, Faycombe Meadow with its orchard, the nature reserve, Winter Rift Circle, Wood of Seasons, several caves and the Miremirror cliffs, plus an inn.
- New NPCs such as Gavin, Helia, Moïra, Célestine and Aster. Gavin and Helia can be romanced, although Gavin can’t be married.
- Events, bundles, recipes, flowers, forageables, fish, minerals, special orders and secrets.
- A market twice a week, a traveling cart and a museum in the nature reserve.
Requirements and compatibility
It’s demanding: it requires SMAPI, Content Patcher, Farm Type Manager, SpaceCore, BETAS, Custom Museum Framework, Esca’s Modding Plugins, Item Extensions, Lumisteria Tilesheets – Indoor and Unlockable Bundles. Version 2.0.0 (February 26, 2026, 11.2 MB) is tagged as compatible with 1.6 and, for existing saves, adds CMF and BETAS as new requirements.
It has special compatibility with East Scarp and Sunberry Village. There are community Spanish translations on Nexus, but they lag behind 2.0.0.

How to install it
- Install SMAPI first (see its mod page) and launch the game once with it to make sure it works.
- Install the nine requirements listed on its page (Content Patcher, Farm Type Manager, SpaceCore, BETAS, Custom Museum Framework, Esca's Modding Plugins, Item Extensions, Lumisteria Tilesheets - Indoor and Unlockable Bundles) and, if you want, Extra Machine Config.
- Open the Visit Mount Vapius page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Lumisteria Visit Mount Vapius 2.0.0). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Extract the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
- Launch the game with SMAPI and check in the console that no requirement is missing.

Common problems
Can I marry someone from Mount Vapius?
The page says Gavin and Helia can be romanced, but Gavin can't be married; for non-marriageable characters there are Stardrop events.
Does it work with an existing save?
The page doesn't require a new save; it warns that, with 2.0.0, existing saves need two new requirements (CMF and BETAS).
Is it available in Spanish?
Not out of the box. There are community Spanish translations on Nexus, one for Latin America in progress and another for version 1.3.4.
