ETS2 map mods: maps for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and ProMods

Here are 55 mods for maps in Euro Truck Simulator 2: standalone maps that take you to another country, expansions that extend the map of Europe and add-ons that rebuild entire countries on top of ProMods. What to keep in mind

Three types of map

A standalone map (Project Japan, Peru Roads) replaces the game's map: use it on a new profile and, unless its author says otherwise, without other maps. An expansion connects to the map of Europe and is usually combined with others. A ProMods add-on modifies ProMods and doesn't work without it, usually on a specific ProMods version that the mod page lists.

DLC and version

Almost all large maps require every SCS map DLC; ProMods, for example, requires all the available ones. After every game update, maps take a while to be adapted, and an add-on may fall behind the latest version of ProMods.

Combos and load order

A "combo" is a list of maps loaded together, often with small connection mods between them. In the Mod Manager, the one higher up takes priority, but there's no single rule: some add-ons go above the map they modify and others below. Copy the exact order each author publishes or ProMods' list of compatible maps, and don't mix maps the author declares incompatible.

Your save

Removing a map from a profile in use can break your save. Make a backup before installing and test combos on a separate profile. In Convoy everyone needs the same maps; in TruckersMP, ProMods only works on specific servers.
