ETS2 1.61 mods
1.61 is the current stable version of Euro Truck Simulator 2: it came out on September 17, 2026. These are its new features according to the SCS Software blog:Proximity exploration: the map is only revealed in a small area around your truck.Volvo FH Series 6 100 Year Edition.Livestock trailer rebuilt from scratch and a new lowbed in the Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack.Improved material system on the Volvo FH Series 4, 5 and 6, and bus stations for the upcoming Coaches DLC.1.62 has been in open beta since October 22, 2026 (Steam's public_beta branch), with the DAF XG+ special editions, new garages and the material system on the Iveco S-Way. It's a beta: many mods haven't been adapted to it yet.Does a mod work on this version? Check the compatible version on each mod page: maps and complex trucks usually need the exact version, while skins and sounds often work even if the Mod Manager shows a warning. If something breaks, check the load order.
