ATS interior mods

Here are 15 mods for American Truck Simulator interiors: GPS units for the dashboard, radio screens with more features, improved dashboards for the 2025 Volvo VNL and the 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, accessories to decorate the cab and mods for the cars in the Road Trip: Ford DLC. Many are made or fixed for 1.61, the stable version; 1.62 is in open beta.

The best ATS interior mods to start with

• Dash GPS Displays - Semi Trucks: a 10-inch GPS that also uses the center screen, with map, speed limit, range and night mode, for 21 SCS trucks. Tested on 1.61.
• Just Clutter Revisited: cab accessories with a '70s-to-'90s feel: CB radios, coffee makers, lunch boxes and road maps. Updated for the 2025 Volvo VNL and VNR.
• Volvo VNL 2025 Improved Dashboard: blind-spot warnings, ETA on every screen and a retarder indicator.
• Volvo VNL 2025 - Improved Radio Infotainment Screens: menu, GPS, mirror cameras and clock on the touchscreen radio, which you switch between with a key. Fixed for 1.61.
• Freightliner Cascadia 2024 - Improved Radio Infotainment Screens: two menus, GPS with a compass and ETA. Requires the fifth-generation Cascadia DLC.
• TabletGPS: a GPS tablet as an accessory for 14 SCS trucks, from Freightliner to Western Star.
• Job Screen: an accessory screen with trip distance, ETA, speed and speed limit.
• Road Trip: Visible Speed Limit: shows the speed limit on the screens of the F-150, the Bronco and the Crown Victoria. Requires 1.61.

What to keep in mind

• Specific truck: improved dashboards and screens only affect their own model; the VNL 2025 and Cascadia 2024 ones don't change anything in other trucks.
• DLC: the Cascadia 2024 mod needs its DLC, and the ones for the 1967 Mustang, the police Crown Victoria or the F-150 need Road Trip: Ford. Better Navigation FOV is tested with the GPS from the Cabin Accessories DLC.
• Version: some only mark 1.58 or 1.59. If the author declares compatible versions and yours isn't listed, the game won't let you activate it.
• Installation: subscribe on Steam Workshop or copy the file into DocumentsAmerican Truck Simulatormod and activate it in your profile's Mod Manager; the interior mod goes above the truck it modifies.
