Assetto Corsa graphics mods
Multiplayer Here are 23 mods for Assetto Corsa graphics: the foundation almost everyone needs, Custom Shaders Patch (CSP), Peter Boese's two weather and sky mods, Pure and Sol, and the post-processing filters (PPFilters) built on top of them. They're for the original Assetto Corsa on PC (1.16) and are managed with Content Manager. Each mod page links only to the official download and tells you whether the filter is for Pure, for Sol or for both.
Sol or Pure: which to install
- Pure is Sol's successor and the one people use today: 16K skies, ground-level fog and HDR post-processing. It requires an up-to-date CSP and Content Manager, and you get it with a $1.50/month subscription on Patreon or Gumroad.
- Sol is free, but its latest version, 2.2.9, is from January 2024 and only works with CSP 0.1.76 through 0.2.9. It doesn't work with CSP 0.2.10 or later. Only use it if your server or league is still on an old CSP.
- Filters don't mix: a PPFilter made for Pure usually looks wrong or won't load with Sol, and vice versa. Some, like C13 Camera Obscura or A3PP, no longer support Sol.
The best filters to start with
- PureLIFE: a filter pack for Pure 0.238 or higher, with a 4.98 rating.
- RealityFilter 3.0 PRO: works with Pure, Sol and LCS mode, with adaptive headlights and auto HDR.
- Improved Lighting for Pure: fixes brightness, glare and night lighting in Pure Gamma mode.
- REVOLUTION PP Filter: for Pure Gamma (not LCS), with Ultra and Optimized video and CSP presets.
- C13 AEGIS: photorealistic, for Pure LCS; requires Pure 3.54 and CSP 0.2.11 or higher.
- Adam's Sol Enhanced: the free option if you're sticking with Sol 2.0, with no vignette or exaggerated colors.
- NatuReal: natural colors, with a version for Pure and one for Sol.
What to keep in mind
- Installation order: first Content Manager, then CSP from its settings tab, then Pure or Sol and, finally, the filter.
- Gamma or LCS: Pure has two modes and each filter states which one it supports. If the image looks blown out or dark, check that setting.
- Online: servers may require a minimum CSP version; Content Manager warns you when you join.
If your PC is borderline, check the Assetto Corsa requirements with mods. For the rest of the installation, read how to install Assetto Corsa mods.
