Hytale gameplay mods

Here are 131 mods that change Hytale gameplay: enchantments and magic, new weapons, animals to tame and breed, storage, mining, cooking, seasons, bosses and RPG level and skill systems. They're all downloaded from the author's official page, almost always on CurseForge. On each page we note whether the mod is already ready for 0.7.3 (Update 7), the current version, or is still marked for 0.6. Update 8 is in pre-release, so it's a good idea to check each mod's version when it comes out.

The best Hytale gameplay mods to start with

• Vein Mining: hold Left Alt while breaking a block and you'll mine the whole connected vein in one go. Tunnel, cube and wall patterns are configured with /vm.
• Simple Enchantments: an enchanting table and more than 30 enchantments on scrolls for weapons, tools and armor, with a Spanish translation.
• Functional Furniture: wardrobes, shelves and bookcases that store items (36 slots in the wardrobe and 54 in the royal wardrobe). Version 1.1.4 for 0.7.
• Simple Elevator: elevator blocks. Jump to go up and crouch to go down. Version 4.0.2 for 0.7.
• Alec's Animal Husbandry!: tame, breed and care for livestock, wildlife and beasts that fight by your side and level up. Requires Alec's Tamework and three other libraries.
• MMO Skill Tree & Abilities: 20 skills that level up as you use them, 32 active abilities, quests and around 200 achievements. It's translated into Spanish and requires Ziggfreed's CommonLib and Perfect Utils.
• Endgame & QoL: endgame content with three multi-phase bosses, dungeons, a new dimension, rideable pets and more than 130 items.
• Dynamic Seasons: all four seasons, each in three phases, with their own weather, colors and snow, and crops that prefer a particular season. Version 6.1.2 for 0.6; requires Patchly.

How to combine gameplay mods

• Dependencies: many mods rely on libraries. Alec's animal mods need Alec's Tamework; Hyper Furnace, Mob Events and PJ BloodMoon need PJ CoreLib; and the MMO Skill Tree packs need Ziggfreed's CommonLib. You'll find them in the Hytale tools section.
• One system of each type: two mods that cover the same thing can clash or duplicate features, like two fishing systems (HyFishing and Angler's Almanac) or two leveling systems (RPG Leveling And Stats and MMO Skill Tree). Try one before adding another.
• Multiplayer: since mods run on the server, in a game with friends they only need to be installed in the world or on the server hosting it. On busy servers, Loot4Everyone or Lootr give each player their own loot in chests.
• Back up your world: mods that add blocks, items or creatures leave traces in your save. Copy the world folder before removing one or updating the game.
