Here are 33 mods for Assetto Corsa EVO: cars built with Kunos' official SDK, liveries and the most popular tools used with the game, from telemetry to server managers. They're all free (if a tool has paid extras, the mod page says so) and each mod page links only to its author's official download, such as OverTake or the project's website. These Assetto Corsa EVO mods are checked against Early Access 0.9, the current PC version of the game.
Does Assetto Corsa EVO have mods?
Yes, although EVO modding has only just started and is more limited than in the original Assetto Corsa. Here's what's available today, based on what Kunos has released:
- Cars: since version 0.7 (June 2026) the game ships with the first official version of the SDK, focused on the car editor. The community uses it to build new vehicles and variants of the official ones.
- Online: since 0.8 (July 2026) community cars can be used in multiplayer. The server checks the files and rejects cars that have been modified or that run a different mod version from the server's.
- Liveries: 0.8 also added the official external livery system, which is what livery design programs use.
- Tracks: there's no official tool to build them yet. Kunos has said track tools will come later, with no date.
What each version brings and what's missing before 1.0 is covered in the Assetto Corsa EVO roadmap.
Types of Assetto Corsa EVO mods
- Cars: recreations of racing classics and tuned versions of the game's official cars, all made with the Kunos SDK.
- Skins: liveries for the official cars and programs to design your own with the external livery system.
- Tools: the official car editor, HUD apps, telemetry overlays, motion simulator software and server panels.
Best Assetto Corsa EVO mods: where to start
- Hina's Drift Club: the game's AE86, RX-7 Spirit R and BMW M3 E46 CSL turned into drift cars, with physics, tyres and cameras built for going sideways.
- Abarth 1000 TCR: a late-sixties Italian touring car with several colours and two liveries with an editable race number, ideal for classic racing.
- Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Competizione "Daytona": the seventies racing Daytona with three liveries; you install it by copying its package into the mods folder.
- Verstappen Racing #3 livery (N24h 2026): the Mercedes-AMG GT2 livery that raced at the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, the most downloaded EVO livery on OverTake.
- LiveryLab Evo: design and preview your liveries in 3D and manage them all in one place; it uses the official system, so they also show up online.
- ACE UI App Loader: an open-source loader that lets you run several community apps at once in the HUD, toggling them from a drawer. Works online.
- SimHub: reads the game's telemetry to drive dashboards, motion rigs, bass shakers and other hardware; the basic version is free.
- Live Telemetry Evo: an overlay with engine, pedals and each wheel's temperature, pressure, wear and load in real time.
If you want to build your own cars, the starting point is the official SDK Car Editor, aimed at people with 3D modelling experience. To run races and championships on your own server there's ACE Manager, which also handles the server's mods.
Drift, F1 and track mods: what's really out there
For drifting, the most complete option right now is Hina's Drift Club. There are no F1 or open-wheeler mods for EVO in the catalogue yet. And if you're looking for Assetto Corsa EVO track mods, anything you find today wasn't made with official tools, because Kunos hasn't released them yet. If you want thousands of community cars and tracks, they're in the original Assetto Corsa.
How to install Assetto Corsa EVO mods
Assetto Corsa EVO mods don't go in the Steam folder but in your user folder:
- Close the game and download the mod from its author's page. If it comes as a .zip, extract it.
- Open %USERPROFILE%Saved GamesACEmods. If the mods folder doesn't exist, create it.
- Copy the .kspkg files directly into mods, with no subfolders. If the author includes other folders, such as uiresources, put them next to them, and avoid ending up with a modsmods path.
- Launch the game and find the car in car selection.
To race online with a mod car, the server has to allow it and you need the same mod version as the server. As for liveries, FORC3 Designer exports them straight to the game and LiveryLab Evo manages them with the official external livery system.
Are there Assetto Corsa EVO mods on PS5 or Xbox?
No. Assetto Corsa EVO is only available on Windows PC, so its mods are PC-only too. What's known about a console version is in Assetto Corsa EVO on PS5 and Xbox.
Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa EVO don't share mods
They're different games: EVO mods are packaged as .kspkg files built with its SDK, while mods for the 2014 game are copied as folders into its content directory. Assetto Corsa mods that don't say EVO won't work here; you'll find them on the Assetto Corsa mods page.
How we choose mods
We only add EVO mods with an identified author and an official download, and on each mod page we note which Early Access version they work with and whether they work online. Since every update can change the SDK, we review the mod pages after each new version.
Frequently asked questions about Assetto Corsa EVO mods
Does Assetto Corsa EVO have mods?
Yes. Since version 0.7 there's an official SDK for building cars, since 0.8 those cars can be used online and there's an external livery system. Official track tools aren't available yet.
How do you install mods in Assetto Corsa EVO?
Copy the mod's .kspkg file directly into %USERPROFILE%Saved GamesACEmods, with no subfolders (create the mods folder if it doesn't exist). Then launch the game and find the car in car selection.
Are there track mods for Assetto Corsa EVO?
There are no tracks made with official tools yet: the current SDK only covers cars and Kunos has said track tools will come later, without giving a date.
Are there F1 or drift mods for Assetto Corsa EVO?
Drift, yes: Hina's Drift Club adapts the AE86, RX-7 and BMW M3 E46 for drifting. We don't have any F1 or open-wheeler mods with an official download in the catalogue yet.
Can you use Assetto Corsa EVO mods online?
Yes, since version 0.8, if the server allows that car. You need exactly the same mod version as the server, because the game rejects modified cars or cars on a different version.
Do Assetto Corsa mods work in EVO?
No. They're different games and EVO mods are built with its own SDK in .kspkg format. Mods for the 2014 Assetto Corsa only work in that game.
